Vine Restaurant is one of Wexford’s longest established restaurants. Opened in 2001 by David & Siobhan Kavanagh, with one of the most experienced & talented Thai chefs living in Ireland, Raywat Wongprachan, Vine provides fabulous food with great service in a buzzing atmosphere.

The high ceilinged neo classical room provides the dramatic setting for a romantic couple, friends meeting up or a large party of revellers.

Raywat Wongprachan was born in Udan Thanai in Thailand. He is the Executive Chef in Vine since we opened in 2001. Ray brought with him an extensive menu, and his signature dishes, such as Duck & Prawn Combo and Spicy Seabass are renowned along the east coast. Ray keeps his cooking consistent, authentic and balanced, and uses as much local produce as possible combined with the exotic, traditional ingredients from Thailand.

Healthy, tasty thai food made fresh. You can't go wrong with The Vine. There is a large menu and they cater well to all tastes/allergies/preferences. Try the duck in tamarind sauce for something different or the chicken cashew for a more classic dish. I prefer the seating downstairs as upstairs can get quite warm.

The service was top notch!!! So much so that when I asked to try the tamarind sauce cause I didn’t know if I would like it, they brought a sample for me to try and were very helpful. Crackers kept coming out and they were delicious!!! Food was great, atmosphere was great. I didn’t hesitate to tip and I’m a stingy tipper!

Amazing atmosphere, beautiful building and design, lighting fab. Food....5 star, fresh and delicious!!! Service is great and staff are so so lovely. I have gone here five times over the past four years when ever I pass through and the standard in all areas never change. I always recommend it to people and rant about it. I will be back for sure

Anyone that wants a Thai restaurant with friendly service, easy atmosphere and simply lovely food should come here. Been here four times now over 10 years and quality has simply not suffered. Try the chicken in red wine and ginger. Not necessarily traditional Thai but has that 'clean' taste and definitely worth a go. Would very much not just recommend but encourage Vine if you are in Wexford.
